Cooking & Eating

Salachran has an open plan kitchen / dining room, with a large dining table that’s ideal for long, relaxing meals and fun family games. The kitchen is well equipped, with an electric cooker & hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

Salachran has two shower rooms (no bath), with one offering disabled access.

With windows around three sides, Salachran’s sun lounge is a firm favourite with our guests. It’s a fabulous place to watch the sun set, spot passing birds of prey or simply relax.

The cottage also has a snug living room, where you can curl up on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove. Perfect for winter evenings!

Salachran is situated in its own private grounds, offering a wonderful retreat from the world. It has a large garden – fenced to keep sheep out and small children in!

Other features

As a family of dog lovers, we’re happy for well-behaved dogs to stay at Salachran with their owners (maximum two).
