Salachran Cottage

An authentic Scottish west coast experience

Salachran is a traditional stone-built cottage, situated about a mile and a half from the village of Bunessan on the Isle of Mull.

With panoramic views of the stunning scenery, a cosy living room complete with wood-burning stove plus relaxing, comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests, Salachran is the perfect base for your Mull holiday.

Mull

Come and experience the hidden secrets of Scotland's west coast

From its idyllic, white-sandy beaches and sparkling turquoise sea to wildlife ranging from whales and eagles to otters and seals, Mull is brimming over with fabulous natural features. It’s also home to an amazing range of artists, including award-winning weavers, contemporary jewellery makers and fabulous painters.

And if one island is not enough for you, why not take a short ferry ride over to the historic island of Iona, where Celtic Christianity first arrived in Scotland? Or a boat trip out to the Treshnish Isles and Staffa to marvel at Fingal’s Cave and smile at the burrowing puffins.
